Finding Hypertension Treatment

A Google search for hypertension treatment brings up over 32 million results.  There are sponsored links from Coreg.com, HealthyHeartFacts.com and HypretensionIsCurable.com.  These links can review medications, learn about treatment options and learn what causes hypertension.

More sponsored links for hypertension treatment include Zona.com, Herbs4HighBloodPressure.com and 1800WellMed.com.  The website Zona.com sells a device that you hold for twelve minutes per day.

Everything on the Zona.com website is done naturally without drugs.

The WebMD website offers an overview of hypertension treatment.

They outline lifestyle changes that all make pretty good sense to me.  They suggest losing weight, quitting smoking, eating a healthy diet, reducing sodium intake, limiting alcohol consumption and incorporating regular aerobic exercise into your life.

Hypertension treatment sometimes includes medications.

The WebMD website talks about all of the different types of drugs used to treat hypertension.  The types of medication for hypertension treatment include ACE inhibitors, ARBs, Diuretics, Beta-Blockers and calcium channel blockers.

The WebMD website stresses the necessity of follow-ups with a doctor if you use medications for hypertension treatment.

After starting antihypertensive drug therapy, you should see your doctor at least once a month until the blood pressure goal is reached.

Once or twice a year, your doctor will check your serum potassium and creatinine levels to check the health of your kidneys.

The Mayo Clinic website came up in my search for hypertension treatment.

They say on their website that there are many causes of pulmonary hypertension.  They also say that there are a variety of high-tech tools available for use to identify this condition.  These tools include heart catheterization, echocardiography, CT and MRI.  They suggest that you read more about the diagnosis of pulmonary hypertension if that is a diagnosis you have been given.

There is a website called HypertensionTreatment.com and they serve as a source of information, resources and support.

Their website is organized well and I was able to find information quickly and efficiently.  Hypertension treatment is very important after a diagnosis of hypertension.  A plan should be worked out with your doctor to address this serious diagnosis.
